Welcome. Let’s talk about Pet Portraits.

My pet portraits are generally done in oil on canvas, but pastels are also an option. Prices begin at $250 for one pet, in sizes from 8”x 8” to 11” x 14”.   Some examples of charges for larger portrait sizes are:  16” x 20”  for $488,  20” x 24” for $732.  Each additional pet adds 30% to the price.

If you have a pet photo that shows a favorite pose, or a much-loved facial expression that you want the portrait to feature, I can make the portrait from that.   But if that special photo is out of focus, needs a different background, or otherwise does not provide all the information needed for the desired portrait, the owner and I can work together to overcome these challenges.

If you have interest in getting a portrait of your pet, let’s talk.   I am committed to painting a pet portrait that delights you. If you are interested in learning more, contact me at Seyna@SeynaFred.com.

I no longer offer acrylic because I find a get a much better result with oil paint, and it too can be hung on t

“Moka”.  Acrylic paint on canvas, 16” x 12” x 3/4”.  Moka’s owner loved the face and expression on one photo and the body and stance of another.  So I combined them for her ideal portrait.

“Charlie”. Oil on canvas, 20” x 16” x 1.5”.

“Charlie”.   Oil on canvas, 20” x 16” x 1.5”.   Painted from photos after his death.

Charlie was very happy after his swim, but very wet.   His owners asked that I capture that smile, attitude and unusual photo angle (taken from above) in a painting that showed his beautiful dry coat.  So using several photos showing his dry coat, I put it all together for them.
