I work with pastel chalks, but my main focus is on oil painting. 

Sometimes a pet owner has a cherished photo that is the obvious choice.  As a hand painter I can correct areas, remove distracting objects, change backgrounds, add a second or even a third pet to the painting.  As you look through the Pet Portrait Gallery you will see notes about special requests I was able to fulfill. 

If the choice of photo is not easy, we can discuss the positives and negatives of each photo and I can help with the decision - we may even agree that I will use aspects of two or more photos.  The goal is a painting that satisfies your wishes.

One reason I enjoy painting on gallery wrapped canvas is it can be hung without framing and looks excellent.  

If you are local, I can offer referrals to excellent framers.  If you wish I will arrange for framing at a small additional charge plus cost of framing and shipping

For non-commissioned artwork that you have not seen in person:  if for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact me within 14 days of receiving your artwork to discuss a return or exchange. Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable and the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.  Artwork must be in the same condition as it was when received.

For commissioned artwork (pet portraits and other commissioned works made especially for you or for a gift) you will be asked to approve the artwork before it is released or shipped.  If approved, it is not returnable.
